Sukhwinder SinghToday in Star Voice of India Sukhwinder SIngh wished Happy Independence Day in his style with a mindblowing performance.

Here is the performance for you:

Independence’ is the flavor of the week as we head towards the 61st anniversary of our Independence. Amul Star Voice of India dedicates this Friday episode to celebrate the Spirit of patriotism and Freedom by reinforcing your right to all good things in life like ‘music’ and right to vote for your favorite contestants on the show. Yes, the journey to unparallel success, fame and stardom begins for the Bemisaal Barah this Independence Day as the Indian junta exercise their right to vote and propel their favorite voice to TOP 11 on Amul Star Voice of India.

All the judges, Host-Shaan and the kids looked worth million-dollar in their white costumes specially designed for the Independence Day. Sukhwinder Singh and the Bemisaal barah set the mood for the evening with Aye Mere watan ke logon, Chak De India and Jana Gana Mana medley. This strong and powerful performance aroused emotions, passion and the feeling of patriotism in all the contestants which was apparent in the performance that took place thereafter.

Rohit Sonar from Seven sister states forced everybody to think of how much do we thank this motherland with his song Vande Mataram. Sayantani from Orrissa sang O palanhare praying for peace and harmony of this nation. Ryan from Andhra Pradesh poured out his heart with Yeh Jo des Hai tera. Vinti from Uttar Pradesh dedicated her performance to kids, the strength & hope of this country with Taare zameen Par.

Mallar from Kolkata impressed everybody with his zealous Zindagi Maut na ban jaye while Zakir from Chhattisgarh made the crowd dance with Watan Pe jo Fida hoga. This battery of Patriotic songs continued with Rahul chanting Mera Rang De Basanti chola, Ravi singing Roobaroo. Saptaparna(seven sister state) and Punjab da puttar-Vipul’s Lukka Chuppi gave goose bumps to everybody witness to their soulful rendition. Also Ritisha from bangalore and Shraddha from Jharkhand gave a rocking performance with Badal Pe Pao hai.

This patriotism that filled the air of the sets rubbed on an otherwise shy Shaan who performed on Yeh Des Hai Veer jawan Ka, Phir Bi Dil Hai Hindustani and really made everybody forget about the sour part of the episode. Yes, It is a freaky Friday where one state will bid a final adieu to the Amul Star Voice of India stage; the first elimination for the Bemisaal barah. One person’s dreams will not see the light of the day on this episode of Amul Star Voice of India while the other 11 will move forward to achieve their goals. Who will it be? Which state will disqualify to become the Voice of the nation?

Rithisha PadnabhRithisha PadnabhThird time in a row Rithisha Padmanabh  gave an amazing and perfect performance on the song Kaisi yeh Paehli Hai on Star Voice of India. The Judges were highly impressed by her performance and showered all their praises on her.She gets into the second round of Star Voice of India.

Well done  Rithisha.Way to go. Best of Luck.

Here is the video of her performance tonight:

Ritisha

As I already wrote Rithisha will go far in Star Voice of India and she gave an amazing performance in the first episode of the show.Last week also it was an awesome performance by her on the song Jaane Kya Baat hai written by R.D.Burman.

I became a Raja Hasan fan because he sang perfectly and I loved the notes added by him as well as his singing was so perfect because he is a classically trained singer and now I see the same qualities of notes and trained singing by Rithisha Padmanabh in Star Voice of India.

The only fear i have in mind is that she is from Karnataka and that is South India and I dont know how much support she will get from her people. We have seen in earlier reality shows that contestents from South India gets eliminated due to non participation from the people of there places.Let us hope that with a spate of reality shows these years things might change around this time and Rithisha gets full support from the people of her state and we as music lovers should also support good talent.

Here is the video of her performance on the song jaane Kya baat hai:

Here is her first performance on the show to refresh your memories:

Rithisha

On Saturday Rithisha Padmanabh from Karnataka sung too nicely in Star Voice of India and I feel that this girl will go far in the contest. It was amazing singing by her and you will be left mesmerised hearing it.Please do comment about her singing. Here is the video for you:

Raja HasanJaswirI feel todays Raja Hasan`s performance was amazing. He showed his full skills in singing. It was a tough song since creating the feel with the song was not easy but Raja did it easily.Everybody enjoyed Raja`s performance. As usual Judge Abhijeet deducted 1 mark for unknown reasons and gave 9 marks and Judge Ahmed gave perfect 10.Raja also spoke a few nice words and he got a standing ovation from all the contestents.Mussarat also sang Piya Re but personally I did not like it.It seemed he did not practice singing for long and was sounding rustic. He was not the Mussarat we know.

Here is the video for you:

Star Voice of indiaLast year Saregamapa was a huge success because of the quality of singers and Himesh Reshamiya`s antics but this time around I feel people have come to terms with reality shows and they are watching how Himesh has been shouting and fighting in last few episodes of Saregamapa 2009 to try to prove the point that Saregamapa is the best show.Viewers cannot be fooled twice in a row.I feel that this time around Star Voice of India 2 with Gajendra Singh the king of reality shows and Shaan as anchor at the helm of affairs will win the battle of supremacy.
