De Taali was a soundtrack created to attract spry Bollywood listeners. The film revolves around the story of three friends – two young guys and a girl – and how the introduction of a new female friend tests each of their relationships. Which in Bollywood means an overabundance of remixes and guest appearances by DJs. Vishal Shekhar, the music director, managed to serve up the title track De Taali in three different versions, including one featuring Nikhil Chinapa, a video jockey-turned-popular DJ. The playback singers include a lineup of young talent in Bollywood – Shaan and Raja Hasan to Sunidhi Chauhan – who are crossover popstars as well.But the soundtrack is decidedly mediocre, and all the attempts to remix the title track falls flat.

However, the hit that will help the soundtrack ride its way to the top lies with Raja Hasan and the song, Maari Teetri (My Butterfly). Hasan, 28, a finalist on a musical reality show in 2007, is now a popstar who blends classical Indian music with western influences. Hasan comes from a trained under his grandfather, Alla Rakha Khan, a maestro, who sang under the patronage of the King of Jodhpur. The streamlined energy and ethnic fusion present in Maari Teetri should’ve set the theme for the soundtrack instead of following Bollywood protocol and banking on the title song.

This week on Star Voice of India

The shooting for this weeks episodes was completed late last night and as per reports in media,Rahul Mukherjee voice of Maharastra says goodbye to SVOI.

Rithisha was in Suraksha chakkar this week and so moves to last 9 in SVOI.Friday is Sukhwinder Singh special and Shiney Ahuja and Kunal Shivdasani are the guests and on Saturday Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol are guests to promote there movie Chamku.

On Friday Rithisha gave a wonderful performance on the Sukhwinder song Chal Chal Mere Sang Sang from the movie Astitva.

On Saturday Rithisha sang a song from the movie Chamku and gave a wonderful performance and got 27 marks from the Judges.

There was hue and cry on elimination of Rahul and finally the voting time was extended to midnight Sunday.

 

Raja Hasan and Jaswir Kaur on Chota Chakkar in Ek Se Badhkar Ek

Today Raja Hasan and Jaswir Kaur gave their Chota Chakkar performance on Ek Se Badhkar Ek.Raja Hasan sang nicely following Abhijeet Meren Khyalon ki Mallika.It seems that Raja`s voice was strained.He is too busy these days working hard and lets hope that Ek Se Badhkar Ek passes of well.Ahmed commenting on Abhijeet Da was the laughing moment in the show.

Jaswir Kaur gave a nice performance on the song Khwab Dekhe Jhoote Moote only with her hips and head movement and expression on face.

Finally the pair got 7 marks in the Chota Chakkar round and their combined total stood at 36 which were the lowest marks for the week.So anything can happen next week.

Jaswir gives an amazing performance in Ek Se Badhkar Ek

Today on Ek Se Badhkar Ek Jaswir Kaur gave an awesome performance on the song Tenu Ghodi Kine Chadaya from the current hit movie Singh is King.It was a mindblowing and perfect performance and Jaswir showed what she is capable of.Today`s performance was loved by kids.

Everybody present were highly impressed and Judge Abhijeet and Ahmed both gave her 8 marks each.
Let me say here that I have a gut feeling that Jaswir will soon be seen in movies.She has the body.looks. grace and all qualities to become a successful actress in bollywood.

Lets us wish her Best of Luck for a bright and rocking future.

Raja Hasan the rockstar on Ek Se Badhkar Ek

Today on Ek Se Badhkar Ek Raja Hasan looking like a rockstar in the beautiful black dress gave a nice performance on the song Kangana tere Sanu kare ishare.It was not a power packed performance as we expect from Raja and the song was also a Punjabi song which I always felt that is Raja`s stronghold.

Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol the guests on the show today were impressed by Raja`s performance and Raja invited Bobby to stage for a dance and Bobby obliged and they danced with Ahmed on Raja`s song.

Judges were once again not impressed by Raja`s performance and Judge Abhijeet gave 7 marks and Ahmed gave 6 marks.

Rithisha today on Star Voice of India

Rithisha gave a nice performance on the song Main Vaari Vaari Jaon from the movie Mangal Pandey.Mallika said there was pain in her voice and the judges were happy.Rithisha moves into the final 10 of Star Voice of India.Here is the video of the performance:

Mallika Sherawat on Star Voice of India this week

Madame Mallika Sherawat surely knows how to draw maximum eyeballs, especially when her film release is around the corner. With Maan Gaye Mughall-e-Azam releasing this Friday, Mallika is leaving no stone unturned to publicize and promote the film.

 

Mallika shot for a special episode of the singing reality show Star Voice of India. Needless to say the participants and audience went hysterical seeing the diva herself. Mallika who plays ‘Anarkali’ in the film had to choose her ‘Salim’ and after watching everyone’s performances she chose Zakir as her ‘Salim’ and even gifted him a ring. Needless to say he was maha-thrilled by her gesture.

Mallika, who looked sizzling hot in a red dress, was even seen cheering judge Sukhwinder as he bogeyed. This fun-filled episode airs on August 22 at 10:00 pm IST.

Rumours are there that Shradha Das Voice of Jharkand my favourite for some other reasons has beeen eliminated this week.

Rumours also say that Rithisha sang Main Vari Vari from the movie Mangal Pandey on Friday and did well and on Saturday she sang Gusthakiyaan from Aankhen but that was not a perfect performance and the Judges were not happy.
